Jim Collorick celebrated his 100th birthday on 3rd March with friends and family at his retirement home at Lovell Court, Holmes Chapel.
He is a war veteran who served in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. He was later senior administrative officer at Alsager College of Education from 1949 to 1982.
He and his wife Joyce retired to Chester until 2007 before moving to Holmes Chapel.
