Elworth Grange care home in Sandbach is helping people through the colder months with a new, free to attend event – Warm Wednesdays.
Each Wednesday from 2pm, community members are welcome to join residents at Elworth Grange in the home’s cinema room for a classic movie, freshly made, hot soup and a warm bread roll.
Home manager Rachel McIntosh said: “As the temperature drops and energy costs increase, we want to make sure that elderly people have a warm, safe place to spend their time.
“Caring for people is at the heart of everything we do at Elworth Grange, so we hope people will always feel welcome, even if they just fancy a cuppa and a chat.”
