BODEN (Agnes “Nancy” Kelly). Peacefully on 21st December 2024 at East Cheshire Hospice, Agnes “Nancy” Kelly, aged 89, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted wife of the late William “Bill” Boden. The funeral service and cremation are to take place at Birches Crematorium on Thursday, 16th January at noon. BOURNE (Dennis). Peacefully passed away at Douglas Macmillan Hospice on 20th December 2024, with his very loving family by his side, Dennis, aged 83, of Knypersley. A devoted husband of 60 years to Ruth; dearly loved dad of Linda, Caroline, and Shawn; a much-loved father-in-law, granddad and great-granddad, and a very special brother, brother-in-law, uncle and cousin. COSTER (Brenda). Brenda, of Sterling Court, Holmes Chapel peacefully passed away on Thursday, 26th December, aged 95. HORSFIELD (Michael Stanley). Passed away peacefully on 18th December 2024 at Astbury Mere Care Home, Congleton, Michael, aged 80. The loved life partner of the now late June Oakes; cherished step-father to Marie (daughter of Janet) and very dear brother to Robert. Michael worked in the textile industry, and for many years worked at Berisford’s Ribbons in Congleton, where he made some lifelong friendships. Given the recent passing of June Oakes, Michael’s life partner, a joint funeral service has been arranged, which will be held at Birches Crematorium on Thursday, 16th January at 4pm. SIDDALL (Sheilah, née Farrell). Of your charity please pray for the repose of the soul of Sheilah, of Mow Cop Riding Centre, who died suddenly at home on Christmas Eve, aged 85. The dearly beloved wife of the late Jeffrey; special sister to Margaret and the late Ken and Glenda; much-loved aunt to Kim, David, Jane, Martin and Richard; dear sister-in-law to Ray, and a cherished great-aunt and good friend. Sheilah will also be fondly remembered by the many people who rode at Mow Cop Riding Centre. Fortified with the rites of the Holy Catholic Church RIP on whose soul, sweet Jesus, have mercy. STANWAY (Karen Anne). In loving memory of Karen Anne Stanway, passed away on Friday, 27th December 2024 at Royal Stoke University Hospital. WILSON (Edward Thomas). Edward passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, 28th December 2024 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 86. The cherished husband of Eileen; loving dad to Suzanne, Edwina and Simon; father-in-law to Johnpaul and Andy; much-loved granddad and great-granddad, treasured brother of the late Margaret and respected uncle.
