BARLOW (Maureen, nee Carter). Peacefully while at home on Saturday, 26th November 2022, surrounded by her dearest family, Maureen, aged 75, from Biddulph, and formerly of Blackburn. The beloved and devoted wife of Jim; treasured mum of Catherine, Robert and Mary; loving mother-in-law to David and Michael; cherished grandma of Nikita, and a much-loved sister, sister-in-law, aunt and a dear friend and neighbour to many. Maureen will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. The funeral service is at St Lawrence’s Church on Tuesday, 13th December at noon, prior to interment at Woodhouse Burial Ground. GOODWIN (Denise Sheree). Peacefully at rest on 26th November 2022, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Denise, aged 63, of Biddulph. The devoted wife of Peter; much-loved mum of Kelly and Matthew; dearly loved nana of Imogen, Noah and Ethan, a caring sister and sister-in-law and a special friend to many. Denise will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends. The funeral service is on Monday, 12th December at Carmountside Crematorium at 3.30pm. The funeral took place on Wednesday, 30th November 2022 of Mrs Jacqueline Johnson, aged 57, of Biddulph, whose death occurred on 13th November 2022 at Royal Stoke University Hospital. JONES (Laraine). Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, 21st November 2022, aged 73. The devoted wife of Barry; loving mum of Scott, Dawn and the late Lee Jones; treasured nannie of Tia and Brooke, and a wonderful sister and friend to many. Laraine will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. The funeral service is at 11am on Monday, 12th December at The Birches Crematorium. MEREDITH (Eleanor). Passed away peacefully with her loving son by her side at Royal Stoke University Hospital on 21st November 2022, Eleanor, aged 85, of Brown Lees. The devoted wife of the late Stan; dearly loved mum of Tony and the late Kevin; much-loved sister of Mary and the late Lilian, and a special friend to many. PUGH (Peter). Peter, of Brown Lees, Biddulph, passed away suddenly on Thursday, 17th November 2022 at home, aged 91. The funeral is at Bradwell Crematorium on Thursday, 15th December at 2pm. RHODES (Audrey). On 18th November 2022, at 90 years of age. Passed away peacefully at home in Biddulph Park, following a long illness borne with dignity and courage, supported by her loving family. The dearly loved wife of the late George; beloved mother of Chris and wife Irene, Fiona and fiancé Steve and Julian; a much-loved nana to Rebecca, Jacob, Joshua, Gabriella and Peter; treasured great grandma to Jonah, Isaac and Oscar, and with another great grandchild due to make their appearance in April. Reunited with George for all eternity. “Audrey has fought the good fight, she has finished the race, she has kept the faith:” 2 Timothy, Chapter 4, verse 7. Carole will be missed tremendously by her many friends and her previous customers of Choice Fashion in Congleton town centre. The funeral is on 14th December at Macclesfield Crematorium, at 12.15pm.
