ARCHER (Patricia Ann). Ann passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 23rd August 2023 in the care of East Cheshire Hospice surrounded by her loving family, aged 82. The cherished wife of the late John; loving mother to Andrew and Jane; much-loved mother-in-law to Diane; cherished grandma of Jessica, George and Rebecca; respected sister to Lyn, and a sister-in-law and auntie. Ann will be lovingly remembered for her warm personality, friendly smile, words of wisdom and unassuming nature and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral will be held at St Mary’s Church, Astbury, at 11am on Friday, 15th September. Following the service, Ann will be interred with her late husband John in Astbury Cemetery. KING (Gareth David). Gareth, aged 49, son of the late Angela Louise and Alan Anthony King and brother to the late Howard King, late of Jersey Close, Congleton, died peacefully after a short illness on 29th August 2023. The funeral service will be held at The Birches Crematorium, Birches Lane, Lach Dennis, CW9 7SU on Wednesday, 20th September at 3pm. ROBERTS (Jessie). Peacefully passed away at home on 30th August 2023 with her loving family by her side, Jessie, aged 81, of Biddulph, formerly of Congleton. The devoted wife of the late Stewart; dearly loved mum and mother-in-law of Kevin and Leslie; much-loved nan of Lee; a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunt, and a special friend to many. Jessie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family and friends.
