BLAKEMORE (Frances). Passed away peacefully on Friday, 1st October, 2021, at Leighton Hospital, Fran, aged 82, of Sandbach. A much-loved mum to Clare, and a dearest sister, aunty and friend to all. The funeral service will be at St Mary’s Church, Sandbach, on Wednesday, 20th October at 1pm, followed by interment in Sandbach Cemetery. GREEN (Maxwell Allden). Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, 1st October, 2021, Max, aged 88, of Sandbach. HARRIS (Brian David). Passed away 27th September. Brian will be dearly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. JONES (the Rev Canon Patrick). The Reverend Canon Patrick Geoffrey Dickson Jones, MA Oxon, MLitt. University of Aberdeen, died peacefully at Blandford Forum, Dorset, on Monday, 27th September, 2021, at the age of 93. Formerly lay reader and curate at St Mary’s Parish Church, Sandbach. Greatly missed by his beloved wife, Winifred, and his children, Lucy, Rupert, Geoffrey, and Arabella. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

LONGLEY (George Bryan). On Saturday, 16th September, 2021, peacefully at the Manor Residential Home, Middlewich, and formerly of Northway, Holmes Chapel, Bryan, aged 88. The beloved husband of the late Phyllis Longley and a much-loved dad, granddad and great-granddad. The funeral service is to take place on Friday, 8th October at St Luke’s Church, Holmes Chapel, at 11am, prior to interment in Holmes Chapel Cemetery. MACHIN (Ernest Cyril). Passed away in the care of Green Gables Care Home, Congleton, on Thursday, 23rd September, Cyril, aged 96. A loved husband to the late Dorothy; dear dad to the late Robert and father-in-law to Sue; loving granddad to Ruth and Sam; cherished great-granddad to Ebony and Amber, and a treasured friend to Malcolm. Cyril will be missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service takes place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 15th October at 11am. MANNING (Joy). Joy died peacefully at her home in Biddulph, on Monday 27th September, aged 93. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew her. NIXON (Georgina Bernice), Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, 23rd September, 2021, aged 81. Georgina will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. PAGE (Josephine Mary). Peacefully passed away on 17th September, 2021, at Tall Oaks Care Home, Biddulph, with her loving family by her side, Josephine, aged 80. The beloved wife of the late Daniel; cherished mother to Karen, Julia, Martin and Debra; much-loved mother-in-law to Garry, David and Karen; devoted nana to Jennifer, Megan, Daniel, Reece, Jack and Paige; a treasured great-nanna to Thomas, Evelyn and Tommy and also a very dear sister of Betty, Ann, Nancy and the late June and Sydney. Josie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends. The funeral takes place at St John’s Church, Knypersley, on Tuesday, 12th October at 11.30am prior to interment at Lask Edge Chapel, Biddulph Moor. It was Josie’s wish that mourners wear brightly coloured clothing, please. ROBINSON (Michael Winfield, “Robbo”). Sadly passed away on 13th September, 2021, aged 50. He was a loving son to his dad Dennis and late mum Ruth and devoted partner to Shelly.
