CUNNINGHAM (Martin William). Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, 18th September 2024 at his home in Nantwich, Martin, formerly of Congleton, and Crewe, aged 76. He was the devoted husband of the late Lynn; cherished dad of Vicky, Nicole and the late Michael; much-missed father-in-law to Danny and Shaun; treasured Gaga to Freya and Sienna, and much-loved brother of Rob. GREENSMITH (Mavis). Mavis passed away peacefully on Sunday, 22nd September 2024 at Prestbury House Care Home surrounded by her loving family, aged 77. The cherished wife of the late Eric Greensmith; loving mum to Grace and Erica; much-loved nana to Tara-Jayne, Aysha, Chad, Aston, Kane, and Kyle, and great-nana to Stanley Franklin, Lottie, Mila and Hughie; respected sister to Ann, Sandra and Carl, and mother-in-law to Nigel and Paul. Mavis will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humour, warm personality, friendly smile, love of gardening, strength of character, words of wisdom, and unassuming nature, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral will be held at St Stephen’s Church, Congleton, at noon on Thursday, 10th October. Mavis’ funeral will be a celebration of her life; she loved life.
