ASH (Harold Edward “Monty”). Peacefully on Wednesday, 22nd May 2024 in RSUH. Monty, aged 77, of Betley. Dearly loved husband of the late Gill, adored dad of Mark, Lyndon, Thomas, Claire and Kenny, treasured father-in-law, granddad, and great-granddad. Monty will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Funeral service to take place at Crewe Crematorium on Friday, 7th June at 12.15pm. AXSON (Joan). Joan passed away peacefully, at home, with her family at her side, on Tuesday, 21st May 2024, aged 90. The cherished wife of the late Peter, loving mother to Ruth and John, much loved Granma to Dan, Lois and Ben, and Great-Granma to Harvey, Artie, Murphy and Jesse. Joan will be lovingly remembered for her warm, friendly smile, her unassuming nature, her love of gardening and art. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The service, which will be a celebration of life, will be held at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, at 11.45am on Thursday, 6th June. Bright colours of dress are encouraged. FARRALL (Peter). Peacefully at rest on 15th May 2024 at The Chimes, Penkhull. Peter, aged 79, formerly of Congleton. A much loved husband of Janet, a loving dad of Cathy and Lee, also a dear father-in-law, granddad, great-granddad and brother. Peter will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. Funeral service and cremation to be held at Bradwell Crematorium on Tuesday, 11th June at 11.20am. LESTER (Jean, nee Hancock). Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly but peacefully at Priesty Fields Care Home in Congleton on Tuesday, 30th April 2024. Jean, aged 85, of Congleton.
