BEBBINGTON (George Henry). Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 19th November 2024, aged 88. The much-adored husband of the late Janet; caring dad to Julie, Tracey and their husbands John and Tony; loving granddad to Daniel, Sarah, Josh and Ben, George will be truly missed by all friends and family. COOPER (Maureen Vivienne). Maureen passed away peacefully on Friday, 1st November 2024 at East Cheshire Hospice surrounded by her loving family, aged 72. The cherished wife of Alan; loving mum to Neil and Ian; much-loved mother-in-law to Jade and Sarah, and adored grandma, sister, friend and colleague to countless more. Maureen will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humour, warm personality, kindness and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. CROWLEY (Josephine Lynn, “Josie”). Peacefully passed away on 5th November 2024, Josie, aged 75, of Packmoor. The loving and devoted wife of Geoff; dearly loved mum of Vicki, Karen and the late Lee; much loved step-mum of Peter and Stephen; dearly loved nannie to Lucas, Poppy, Darcy, Olivia, Lewis, Ebony, Graysen and Isaac, and a special friend to Bo and Izzy. HEATH (Janice Elizabeth). Peacefully passed away on 15th November 2024, with her loving family by her side, Janice, aged 76, of Knypersley, and formerly of Mow Cop. MORT (Joan Winifred). Died peacefully on 15th November 2024 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, aged 89, and of Bradwall, Sandbach. The wife of the late Arthur Edward Mort; much-loved sister to Kenneth Eric Mort; sister-in-law to Jean Mort; auntie to nephews John Mort, Ian Mort and Cathy Mellor, David Mort and Sharon Magee; auntie to niece Joy and David Leathwood; great-aunt to Vicky Leathwood and Elly Leathwood and very best friends of Bethan Williams Price and family, and Audrey Jennings and family. She will be sadly missed but well remembered by her family and friends. Joan lived in Sandbach during the 1940s and 1950s, residing at the former Sandbach Police Station on Bold Street with her late father Police Sergeant Ambrose Mort, mother Winifred Mort and brother Kenneth and attended Brereton Hall Girls’ School. In the late 1950s Joan moved to Keepers Cottage on Walnut Tree Lane, Bradwall, when her father became gamekeeper on the Bradwall Estate. Joan worked at the Cheshire Police Headquarters Offices where she met her husband, Arthur. They moved to Porthmadog, North Wales, where they were proprietors of a busy grocery store by the caravan park and in later years retired back to Bradwall. PARR (John). Peacefully on 16th November 2024 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, John, aged 69, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted husband of Rose, and a much-loved dad of Michelle. The cortege is to leave his home on Tuesday, 3rd December at 10.20am for a service and cremation at Birches Crematorium at 11am.
