ALCOCK (Lily). Passed away peacefully at home on 16th April 2024, Lily, aged 101, of Sandbach. The dearly loved wife of the late Cyril; special mum to Ian and the late Roy; mother-in-law of Wendy and Jean, and treasured nana and great-nana. BOLLINGTON (Eileen May). At rest on Monday, 15th April while at Royal Stoke University Hospital, with her loving family present. Eileen, aged 94, of Biddulph Moor. The devoted and beloved wife of the late Maurice; cherished mum of Margaret and Kevin; dearest mother-in-law to Howard and Jackie; treasured nana of Joanne, Karen, Anna and Amanda and great-nana, a loving sister, sister-in-law and aunt, and a very good friend and dear neighbour to many. Eileen will be sadly missed but affectionately remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Friday, 3rd May at 11.30am. BOSTOCK (Stephenie, “Steph”, nee Sheard). Stephenie passed away peacefully on Friday, 12th April 2024 at East Cheshire Hospice surrounded by her loving family, aged 59. She was the cherished wife of John; loving mother to Stephen and Lucas and their partners Debbie and Sarah; treasured daughter to Dianne and the late Stephen and much-loved step-daughter of Arthur; adored grandmother of Harleigh, and a dear friend to many. Stephenie will be lovingly remembered for her sense of humour, warm personality, friendly smile, strength of character, unassuming nature and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. The funeral will be held at St Mary’s Church, Astbury, at 12.30pm on Tuesday, 7th May. Will friends please accept this notice as an invitation to join us in celebrating Stephenie’s life. MORETON (Charles, “Dennis”). Dennis passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 16th April 2024 at home surrounded by his loving family and friends, aged 81. The cherished husband of Mary; loving father to Jackie, Michael and Beverley; devoted and much-loved granddad to James and Emily, and inspirational father-in-law to both Jackie’s husband, Chris and Beverley’s husband, Chris. Dennis will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, warm personality, friendly smile and love of the outdoors. Known as “Mr Giantswood Lane”, he was a wonderful friend to many, always willing to help anyone with their garden or other maintenance task where support was needed. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral will be held at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Wednesday, 8th May at 1pm. SHAW (Robert James). Suddenly passed away on 4th April 2024 at his home in Gillow Heath, Robert James Shaw, aged 61. A devoted son of the late Bernard and Doris Shaw, of Moody Street Farm; dearly loved brother of Charles, Barbara, Ernest and the late Stuart, and a much-loved brother-in-law and uncle. Robert was a respected skip hire and haulage contractor and a very dear friend to many. Robert will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving family and friends.
