GRESTY (Rosemary Lenette). Passed away peacefully at home on 25th September 2024, with her family by her side, the vibrant, colourful and giving Rosemary, aged 64, of Congleton and Macclesfield. She was the devoted wife of Stephen; the dearly loved mum of Miranda, and the cherished daughter of the late Joan and David. She inspired so many students at St Joseph’s High School from 1988 to the early 2000s and her school shows will never be forgotten. She was a glorious actress, gracing stages across Staffordshire and Cheshire, appearing as Florence Foster Jenkins in “Glorious”, Mother Superior in “Sister Act”, Marmee in “Little Women” and Sally Bowles in “Cabaret”. Rosemary will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by her family, friends and everyone whose lives she touched and inspired.
