BERRY (John Michael). Passed away peacefully at home on 19th August 2024, John, aged 91, of Brereton. Wonderful husband of Margaret; loving dad to Claire, Paul and David, and a devoted granddad and great-granddad. BOOTH (Iris). Peacefully on 4th August 2024 at home, Iris, aged 96, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted wife of the late William Booth and a loving aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt. A service is to take place at Rood Lane Methodist Chapel on Monday, 9th September at 1.30pm, prior to committal at Macclesfield Crematorium. CLARKE (Joyce Ann, née Kleisterlee). Passed away suddenly on Saturday, 10th August 2024 at Macclesfield District General Hospital, Joyce, aged 82, of Congleton. The loved and devoted wife of Ernie; cherished mum of Mark and Michelle; very dear mother-in-law of Anne, and treasured grandma of Tyler and Lily Mae. ENTWISTLE (Myra). Sadly passed away while at Astbury Mere Care Home in the presence of her loving family on Friday, 9th August 2024, after a short illness fought with great courage and dignity. Myra, aged 84, of Congleton, and formerly of Mow Cop. The dearly loved wife of the late Mike; much-loved mum of Karen and Sandra; a dear mother-in-law of Jim; a special nana of Kayleigh; cherished great-nana of Elsie Mae and Henry, and a loving aunty Myra of Emma, Lacie, Jenson and Bethanie. Myra will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all her family and friends. The funeral service and cremation is to take place at the Birches Remembrance Park and Crematorium (CW9 7SU) on Wednesday, 4th September at noon. SWIFT (George Graham). At rest on 10th August after a short illness, borne with dignity, Graham, aged 85. The devoted and loved husband for 65 years to Irene Mary; loved dad of Alan and partner Louise, and loved dad of Elizabeth and Ian, and father-in-law to Domenic and Jocelyn; dear brother of Kathleen and the late Sidney; granddad to Joseph, Domenic, Peter, Alexandra, Francesca, Katrina, Bethany, Gabriella and Charlie; great-granddad to Phoenix and Killion, Isabella and Lucca, Carla, Joseph and Isaac, Sebastian, Rafael and Nico, Max, Evangelina and Emiliana, and great-great-granddad to Azariah. Graham was well known in the crown green bowling world and until recently continued to enjoy his passion for the game. He will be missed by family and bowling colleagues. Committal on Tuesday, 3rd September at 11.30am at Carmountside Crematorium, Leek Road, Milton, ST2 7AB, followed by a celebration of life service at Biddulph Methodist Church, Station Road, Biddulph, ST8 7BJ. Light refreshments after this will be served from Biddulph Bowling Recreational Club, Congleton Road, Biddulph, ST8 7RG. Mourning attire not essential; black tie optional.
