CRITCHLOW (Alan Paul). It is with great sadness we announce the sudden death after a very short illness of Alan Paul Critchlow on 30th March 2023, aged 68. The much-loved and devoted partner of Valerie Bailey; dad to Lee and Adam; stepfather to Christopher; granddad to Bradley, Freddie and Bobby; step-granddad to Ryan, Jake and Elliot; brother to Judith, John and the late Derek, and brother-in-law to Tony and Gill. Formerly from Stoney Lane, Cauldon, he was the landlord of the Wild Boar, Wincle, near Macclesfield for 17 years until his death.
