BEDFORD (Geoffrey Robert). Geoff died peacefully in hospital, on Thursday, 17th June 2021, aged 84. The beloved husband of the late Anne; loving father of Fiona and Maura; father-in-Law to Mark and Duncan, and devoted grandfather of Katie, William, Georgette and Xander; dear brother of the late David, and brother-in-law to John. Geoff will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Due to current restrictions a private funeral service will take place. COOMBES (Janet). Peacefully at rest on 20th June 2021, while in the loving care of her family at home in Biddulph Moor, Janet, aged 85. The dearly beloved wife of Bob; devoted mum to James and Daniel; a dearest mother-in-law to Susan; a loving and much loved granny to Peter, Thomas and Charlotte, and a dearest sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend who will be truly missed. The funeral service and interment are to be held at Hilltop Methodist Church, Biddulph Moor, on Wednesday, 7th July at 1.30pm. COPE (Alfred Geoffrey. Geoff passed away peacefully on Friday, 25th June 2021, at East Cheshire Hospice, aged 74. He was the loved and devoted husband to Brenda; dearly loved dad of Kim and Norman; cherished granddad of Nathan, Rhys, Ryan and James; treasured brother to Christine, and a dear uncle and brother-in-law. DOORBAR (Anthea Mary). Anthea passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 16th June 2021, at Macclesfield and District General Hospital, aged 80. The beloved wife of Roy and treasured mum of Jason and Stephen; the loved sister of Jennifer, Janet and Christine, and also the late Stuart. Anthea will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. The funeral will be held privately at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, on Tuesday, 6th July. GREEN (Ronald Gregory, “Ron”). Peacefully passed away at Royal Stoke University Hospital with his loving family by his side, on 21st June 2021, Ron, aged 72, of Gillow Heath. The devoted husband of Laima; loving dad of Laura, Eddie and the late Richard; dearly loved father-in-law of Joanne; much loved granddad of Archie and Annie; special brother, brother-in-law and a special friend to many. HERRINGTON (Stephen John). Aged 72, sadly passed away on 24th June 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Even though failing health took him away from his loving and devoted family, he will be remembered for his calm, laid-back and joyous approach to life and all of its challenges. Steve is survived by his wife, Jennifer. He was a proud father to two sons, Graham and Stephen. He was a very proud grandfather to his six grandchildren Amy, Jessica, Danielle, Sam, Sophie and Olivier. Steve was extremely lucky to have also been a very proud great-grandfather to George, Alfie and Bobby. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Steve. Whether it was watching football or playing cribbage, his cheerful, laid-back attitude and smile could be seen and will be sorely missed by all. “We are not together now but our love will always carry on”, Jen. KNIGHT (David). Peacefully passed away on 19th June 2021, at Douglas Macmillan Hospice. David, aged 68, of Scholar Green. The dearly beloved husband of the late Marie; much loved father of Tracy and Stephanie; loved father-in-law of Mark and Chris; a loving and very special granddad of Thomas, Isabel and Ava, and a special son of Pearl and the late Douglas.
