BAIN (Brenda Mary). Passed away peacefully on 21st November 2021, at Tabley House Nursing Home, Brenda, aged 83, of Holmes Chapel. The beloved wife of the late Malcolm; dearly loved mum to Alastair and Adrian, and a wonderful granny. The funeral service is to be held at St Luke’s Church, Holmes Chapel, on Monday, 6th December at 11am, followed by committal at Birches Crematorium. BINGLEY (Austin). Passed away peacefully in the presence of his loving daughter and son, on 24th November 2021, at Hillswood Lodge, Endon, Austin, aged 101. The devoted husband of the late Evelyn; father to Joy, Roger and the late Gordon; father-in-law of John and Vivia; granddad to Louise, Darren, Vicky, Andrew and Sarah, and a dear great-granddad. BRITTAIN (Robert Michael, “Rob”). Suddenly passed away on Wednesday, 17th November 2021, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Robert, aged 58, of Harriseahead. The devoted husband of Bev; cherished dad of Ryan and Katie, and step-dad to Scott and Tom; a treasured granddad Rob; loving father-in-law, son-in-law, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle, and a very good friend to many. Rob will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. The funeral service will take place at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Friday, 17th December at 11am, prior to interment into Woodhouse Burial Ground. MITCHELL (John). Passed away unexpectedly on Friday, 19th November 2021, at home, surrounded by his loving family, aged 81.
