ALLEN. Peacefully on 24th July 2024 at Macclesfield District General Hospital. Patricia “Pat” Catherine, aged 95, of Congleton. The dearly loved and devoted wife of the late Philip Allen. ANGEL (Raymond “Ray”). Ray passed away peacefully on Thursday, 18th July 2024 at Macclesfield District General Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends, aged 88. The cherished husband of Patricia, loving dad to Heather and Dawn, respected father-in-law to John and Jim, much loved granddad of Sam, Gemma, James and Hayley, and great-granddad to Teddy. Ray will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour, warm personality, friendly smile, strength of character and unassuming nature, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral will be held at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Congleton at 11.30am on Wednesday, 7th August. We kindly suggest to wear cheerful colours, and perhaps wear a bright tie or socks, as this embodies how Ray was.
