CARTER SMITH (William “Bill”). At rest on 22nd October 2024 at Royal Stoke University Hospital with his loving family by his side, Bill, aged 83, of Gillow Heath. The dearly loved and devoted husband of 62 years to Linda; devoted and loved dad of Belinda and Paula; father-in-law to Mick; the much-loved and cherished granddad to Charlotte, Sophie, Liam, Connor and Reece and their partners, and great-granddad to Quinn, Alexandra and Ralph. Bill will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all his family and friends. GASKILL (Christine). Suddenly and unexpectedly after a long illness, Christine Margaret passed away at home on 24th October 2024, of Mossley, Congleton and formerly of The Hollands, Biddulph Moor. The dearly loved wife of the late Herbert (Bert) Gaskill; much-loved sister to Valerie Bailey and the late Jesse; devoted aunty to Christopher, Sharon and Jesse, and sister-in-law to Pat.
