BAILEY (Betty). Peacefully passed away on 4th January, 2021, after a long illness borne with dignity and courage. Betty, aged 84, of Knypersley. CHATTERTON (Margaret Eleanor). Margaret Eleanor Chatterton was born on 12th April, 1932, in Manchester. The beloved wife of John Percy, mum to Andrew Franklyn, mother-in-law to Charlotte, nana to Holly, James, Amelia, Georgina, Benjamin, Samson & Eleanor and aunty to Mark, Michelle and Susan. Margaret had the most wonderful life, filled with love. She never had a bad word to say about anybody and was a truly faithful wife to John. Margaret loved her badminton and played for Lancashire for many decades in the veterans’ circuits around the UK and worldwide. She was a super crossword and Scrabble player, and loved the history of the Royal Family. Margaret passed peacefully, with John and Andrew holding her hands, on 6th January, 2021, and will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends.
