BARRY (Phyllis, nee Crosby). Phyllis, aged 91 years, of Biddulph, peacefully entered eternal rest on Wednesday, 25th October 2023 while in the care of the staff at Claybourne Care Home, with her two daughters by her side. The beloved and devoted wife of the late Jim Barry; cherished mum of Josephine and Janet; dearest mother-in-law to Paul and Neil; a treasured grandma of Robert and Philippa, a great grandma, and a very special friend to Gracie Greyhound. Phyllis will be deeply missed but affectionally remembered by all her loving family. A private committal service will take place prior to a service of Celebration and Thanksgiving at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Thursday, 9th November at 3pm. CARTWRIGHT (Susan Mary). Passed away peacefully at Clayton Manor Care Home, Congleton, Susan, aged 88 years. A teacher at Westlands High School, West Heath, for many years who will be greatly missed by family, friends and all that knew her. HARRIS (John). Peacefully, at home on Saturday, 7th October, 2023, aged 89. The devoted husband of Iris; treasured brother of Mary and Eira, and much-loved uncle to Josephine and Sian.
