BLACKHURST (Ronald). Peacefully passed away on Friday, 22nd November 2024, at Ashfield Care home, Macclesfield, Ronald, aged 82. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. BLOOR (Philip). Passed away peacefully at home on 4th December 2024, Phil, aged 60, of Wall Hill, Congleton and formerly of Haslington. The much-loved husband of Rosie; loving dad to Will, and a dearly loved brother, uncle and treasured family member. GOODALL (Richard). Passed away peacefully at Macclesfield District General Hospital on 29th November, aged 80. The beloved husband of Jean, and much-loved uncle of Karen and Mark. HIGGINS (Margaret). Peacefully passed away at her home in Brown Lees, surrounded by her loving family on 28th November 2024, aged 85. A devoted wife to Thomas; loving mum to Allan, Paul and Stephen; special mother-in-law of Nicola, Lynn and Julie; dearly loved nan to Simon, Michael, Jake and Amelia; great-nan to Olive, and a dear sister to Betty. Margaret will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. JONES (June Lavinia). At rest on Thursday, 28th November 2024 at Tall Oaks Care Home, June, aged 96, of Biddulph. The beloved and devoted wife of the late Oswald Jones; a cherished mum of Sue, Lynne, Roger and the late Jimmy and Howard; dearest mother-in-law to Ken, Geoff, Trudie, and Lisa; a much-loved gran June and great-gran, and a very dear friend and neighbour to many. June will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew her. The funeral service will take place at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph, on Thursday, 19th December at 11am, prior to interment at Biddulph Town Cemetery. The dearly loved husband of the late Olwen; dearly loved dad of Diane, Karen and Cheryl; dear father-in-law to Trevor, the late Brian and David; dearly loved granddad of Gail, Simon, Mark and fiancée Molly, Rachael and husband Sean, and much-loved great-granddad of Lily, Ava and Freya. The cortège is to leave his home on Tuesday, 17th December. The funeral service is to take place at St Lawrence’s Church, Biddulph at 11am, followed by interment at Woodhouse Burial Ground.
