COPE (Martin William “Mart”). Peacefully on Thursday, 12th October 2023 while at Scotia Heights Care Home. Mart, aged 64, of Burslem and formerly of Biddulph. A treasured and beloved son of the late Norman and Annie Cope, dearest brother of Michelle and David, loving brother-in-law to Alan and Julie, a much-loved uncle of Abbie, Kimberley and Matty, a dear nephew and cousin, who is sadly missed and loved by many. DONG TIEU (Vien “Vinny”) of KP Auto, of Congleton. Peacefully passed away in hospital on Sunday, 24th September 2023, during the early hours of the morning. He was aged 78, from Congleton. Much loved husband of Mrs Kim-Phuong Nguyen and also father of three, Vien-Linh Tieu, My-Linh Tieu, and Bao-Linh Tieu. DUCKWORTH (Frances). Peacefully at home on 17th October 2023, with her loved ones around her, at the amazing age of 108. She was the dear wife of the late Alfred Duckworth, and the most wonderful, loved and devoted Mum, and a very special Nan who was adored, loved, and respected. HUGHES (Robert “Bob”). Robert passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Friday, 13th October 2023 at home, aged 79. The loving father to Daniel, much loved father-in-law to Samantha, much-loved granddad of Bradley and Betsy, cherished brother to Phyllis and Janet and the late Michael and Sheila. Robert will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour and warm personality and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
