BAILEY (Anthony, “Tony”). Peacefully on Sunday, 13th November 2022 at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Tony, aged 79, of Biddulph. A devoted dad of Joanne and Suzanne; cherished granddad of Jordan, Isaac, Sarah and David; father-in-law to Derek; treasured brother of Sheila, a dear uncle and a very good friend to many. Tony will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all his loving family and friends. The funeral service is at Carmountside Crematorium on Wednesday, 30th November at 11.30am. BROMLEY (Barbara). It is with great sadness that we announce that Barbara passed away on Tuesday, 15th November after a long illness, aged 73. Barbara was a loving mother to her son Matthew and daughter-in-law Michelle. She was devoted to her grandsons, Josh and Connor and was the cherished sister and best friend of Helen and Diane and their husbands, Mick and Mike. Barbara was dearly loved by her step-daughter Amanda and her family. Barbara was also greatly loved by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and their partners and her great-great-niece Isla. Barbara will be sadly missed by all her family and many friends. She lived life to the full and was always ready to help anyone. She made a difference to the lives of many. A life well lived. The funeral service is on Thursday, 8th December at Macclesfield Crematorium at 1.15pm followed by a service at New Life Church, Congleton, at 2.15pm to celebrate Barbara’s life. DOLMAN (Stephen). Passed away suddenly but peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his home on 7th November 2022, Stephen, aged 56. GAMBLIN (Alec). Passed away peacefully at Leighton Hospital on 15th November 2022, Alec, aged 94, of Sandbach. The devoted husband of the late Doris; dearly loved dad to Ian and Alisonne, and loving granddad and great-granddad. JONES (Peter John). Peter passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, 6th November 2022 in the peaceful care of the staff on ward eight at Macclesfield District General Hospital, aged 84. The loving partner of Cynthia; father of Michael and Suzanne; friend to Nigel and Anthea, and loving brother to Eileen and brother-in-law to Ken. Peter will be lovingly remembered for his sense of humour and crude jokes, his anecdotes of life and true stories! He was a popular character with a warm personality and friendly smile. He loved his pipe, a pint and football and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral is at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, at 10am on Monday, 28th November. Cynthia is truly grateful for all the kind messages of condolence and cards that have been sent in Peter’s memory. MCLEAN (Dr John Harvey). Harvey passed away peacefully on Friday, 4th November 2022 after a long illness fought with great courage. He passed in the care of his loving wife and the caring staff of Heliosa Nursing Home, aged 91. The devoted husband of Elaine, Harvey will be lovingly remembered for his warm personality and his caring nature. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. The funeral was due to be held privately at Birches Crematorium, Northwich, today (Thursday, 24th November).
