SALT (Maurice). Suddenly on 10th July 2022, at Royal Stoke University Hospital, Maurice Anthony, aged 92, of Leek, and previously of Knypersley. The renowned, retired headmaster from English Martyrs’ RC Primary School, Biddulph, now Our Lady of Grace Catholic Academy. Also previously a teacher at St Joseph’s, Goldenhill. The much-loved husband of Jenny and the late Phyllis; dearly loved father to Philip, Richard and Jenny’s children; father-in-law to Kirsten, and adored grandfather of Sam and Jenny’s grandchildren Chloe, Poppy and James. A friend and mentor to many who will be very sadly missed. Maurice will be brought into English Martyrs’ RC Church on Monday, 8th August at 4.30pm, prior to funeral mass on Tuesday, 9th August at 11am, which will be followed by cremation at Carmountside Crematorium at 12.30pm. Will all relatives please accept this, the only intimation, and would friends and relatives kindly meet at the church for the services.
